Algonquin Canoeing

Camping in Algonquin?
My pregnant wife and I are going camping in Algonquin Canada in a month. We are very happy and this is my first time. I'm told we have 3 hours in a canoe and a 1 hour walk to get to our camp. Could any of you please more details on some of the things needed to take with us. It is in early August. We have a good shop, decent sleeping bags, a bag of 5000 Kelty one would even the kitchen sink (and I have to wear) and some essential and outside of camping. Plus, what kinds of things should we consider in Algonquin, what are some attractions that we should see? Thanks advance for your answers.
Omg im so jealous of you. I love the Algonquin park. Anyway, you should also consider getting a waterproof bag. like this (it's sorta the shape of a drum) http://www.myshoplive.com/electrical-equipment-1.htm There are really good, to keep food in just in case of rain, so that no animals make their way into your food. Also, waterproof matches are the key! and you also want to make some kind of thick chain (such as yellow cord is pretty cheap) to make your own line of clothes to dry your stuff if it gets wet. Also, here is a link to the tracks and the museums on Algonquin .. take a look here for some ideas http://www.algonquinpark.on.ca/mustrails.html The canoe trip will be long but you are never short of things to see you promise! It is well worth that effort, and hey will be buff enough for the time you're done! I suggest that after all the adventure of camping out in his canoe to see what that is around your area. Have fun! And do not forget bugspray tons: D
