Comfort is a basic human desire, but it is a human need. In our most fundamental level, we all want to be comfortable. Comfort is a good thing. But in order to survive, it is absolutely necessary to be comfortable. This helps, but not a requirement of survival. It is a sad statement, but suffice it to state homeless people living in a cardboard box on the street in winter to realize that survival is not necessarily comfort.
The same is true for comfort and success. Although it is clearly a matter of their personal value system might not be comfortable actually represent success, at least if we consider a massive hit to be a function of his great dreams and visions. If you love to take a vacation on the yacht of 100 'in the Caribbean and around the canoe after paddling a lake in place, could be comfortable, but not as successful as you want to be. If they were, of course, you would be on that yacht in place.
What happens if you like the progress of our careers, we often lose sight of the real success and sets in place of comfort. There is nothing intrinsically wrong with this, and if you are comfortable is all that you seek in life, well then so be it. But it is clear that the comfort level of performance represents a much lower of our true potential. And that's a waste because we not only you but your family and to achieve the highest possible level.
Of course, the achievement a level so high that more fully utilizes his talent, ability and potential requires a corresponding increase in the effort too. Becoming a success is mass easy. It requires much hard work to achieve, which is why many people fail to where you really want to be. You feel comfortable, see how much extra work I would have to do to really make their mark, and simply do not want.
And if the process stopped there, probably not so much because we have all to make this call yourself. The problem arises when we begin to near middle age, often with a growing family in tow, and realize-too late-that We have not taken advantage of our true potential. That, for convenience, we have lost precious years that could be brought closer to our desired goal. But never too late to change. The sooner you start the better.
