Things to do in Austin, Texas?

I live in Round Rock and I go to Austin all the time. When I leave the university, I am defiantly going to live there. To now, I'm turning 16 in a couple of weeks. I want my friends and I to get out and do something. Fun, not too expensive, but great. I know what's out there, but I want something different to do. I'm thinking about spending a couple of hours at Barton Springs. And I love canoeing on Town Lake. Help me? Remember that I only have 16.
