Canoeing Everglades

Why are effective canoes to travel in the Everglades?
I have a project to do in the Everglades also i have another question …. What method of transportation do you think would be more effective in the Everglades? Why? Calusa canoes because I used to travel, but wanted to make sure he was right.
The Everglades is a giant swamp with different water depths. The canoes are good for use in the Everglades because they are close and have a very shallow draft. They are also "two points", so if you go into a narrow passage, but it becomes impassable, one can only turn in the canoe and paddle out. shallow draft boats are more effective in the Everglades. The boat is very effective because it is fast, has a long reach, has a little project depth, a fairly large load capacity and can even travel by land if necessary. canoes are smaller, more maneuverable, cheaper, quieter, can be carried across land, and requires no fuel.
