Swansea, Copperpolis affectionately called, is located on the sandy southwestern coast of Wales.

Limited by the Swansea Bay and the Bristol Channel, the south, you'll never run out of things to do in Swansea. The beaches at Langland, Caswell and Limeslade attract bathers and tourists because of its safety ideal for families and children. Swansea Bay on the other hand is a good community of enthusiasts of water sports. Live music is also played in some places. The Mumbles Mile, formerly known as "one of Wales most famous pub crawls" as described by the BBC is in Swansea.

Swansea has more than three miles (5 km) of soft golden sand, making it the ideal family getaway. Its beaches have received much attention and praise from many travel magazines. Travel writers visit more 1,000 beaches around the world in search of the perfect sands in 2007 have pleaded Oxwich Bay on the Gower Peninsula, as the most beautiful beach in Britain. The magazine Travel put its stamp of approval on a landscape "magnificent and unspoilt Oxwich" and a "great place for adults and children to explore." Moreover, The Guardian awarded as one of the best beaches in Britain category 10 in 2007.
