It is very important as a family to leave outdoor and active together. Days out are great – but why not go further and stay under the stars? Take the kids camping!

Family Camping

With wildlife as its neighbor, to-die-to admire the scenery and acres of space for children to run and make new friends, camping is a family adventure awesome. This comes from a long way to simply throw an old shop in a wet field. 1) Clippesby Hall, Norfolk,

The amount on offer here is amazing: a lot of different pitches, for camping and travel, to satisfy all requirements. Country houses and cottages are also available. You can rent bikes and go exploring or stay and make use of outdoor heated pool, soccer field, mini-golf, tennis, table tennis, and volleyball facilities. A fresh tree house picnic in a family pub and on the site, all which is set in the grounds of the hall itself.

2) Pine Holiday Park, Wells,

With its colored beach huts lining a stretch of the North Coast of Norfolk Heritage, the scent of the pines and the sea, you are welcome to this fantastic family base. Camping in the fields of soft coast, walking along the beach, or rent bikes and explore the forests Holkham Nature Reserve and the bosom of Abraham, one of the only land locked saltwater lagoons in the UK.

There is also a miniature railroad nest you travel half mile to the charming town of Wells-On-Sea, with plenty of shops and pubs.

3) Tantallon Caravan & Camping Park, North Berwick

Watching the waters of the Firth of Forth, this camp has stunning views on the field. But, set at the base of a 14th century castle we will also be seen throughout history! You can storm the battlements of Tantallon Castle his own shop tents or stay in a deluxe base camp cabins. Boat trips to Bass Rock Island can be arranged and you can also browse the Seabird Center Scotland overlooking the beach.

4) Bosworth Water Trust, Warwickshire

In Bosworth, families pitch their tents and park their caravans around a large lake, where you can windsurf, sail and canoe to your heart's content. There are 56 points electrical and all parcels are individually marked out to ensure a good bit of space for the family separated. The site is busy in summer, and as camping only is available for families (and couples over 23) It is a wonderful environment for young people to find new friends.

5) Larkhill Tipis, Carmarthenshire

You and your children can spend a weekend intended Sioux warriors being in this corner of southwest Wales. You will remain in 'teepees' decorated with sheepskin rugs, storage of logs, candles, and futons with lots of pillows and cushions. Outside you can hike in the mountains, walking through the meadows and get lost in a seven rings Restaurants in the maze.

This is a classic campsites where families of all ages come by breathtaking scenery. It is the best way for anyone to escape the stresses hectic everyday life. This very British twist on the ethno-camping currently in vogue (yurts, teepees and the like), is great for picnic under an umbrella between butterflies and wildflowers. 9) Three Cliffs Bay, Gower

Sometimes keeping it simple is best: no tricks here, just stunning sea and beach. The horseshoe bay in front of the camp was once voted the best view of the Country Wales. There are plenty of walks along the cliffs, windsurfing, water skiing and a nature reserve of 540-acres.
