Charles river fishing? MA?

I'm fishing in the Charles River in the spring / winter. The first part, I will be in a canoe, and then at night Morining early offshore. Im fishing for anything, especially catfish, Pickeral and downs, but everything else too. What should I use for lures / bait?

live bait must be the best in the river or cut bait catfish bass rattle traps crank baits, Rapala baits Spinner baits in spring buzz and water above other good luck in the fall
