Car parking in Monmouth ?

I am canoeing down the Wye this weekend and need to park my car near the Rowing Club in Monmouth. I haven’t been before so could anyone tell me where I can park ?. I have a lot of gear so the closer to the river the better. Thanks

I think that there is parking at the leisure centre which I believe is near the rowing club. From the main road you have to turn at the traffic lights, right if you are traveling from the Welsh side or left if you are coming down from English side. Over the bridge and it’s on the left.
Put Monmouth Rowing Club into your search engine. Make sure you are looking at UK site! There are a few sites and one of them gives a link to Multimapof the area. Good luck.
