Canoeing Thames River
Can I have my own canoe and use it in the Thames and other rivers, canals etc also?
Can I do this or I need some kind of license?
You do not need a license to canoe on the River Thames. Canoe used regularly with the canoe club in Richmond. Help to join a club, if nothing else to be aware of safety issues (there are some very big boats there, and the rowers, looking back, it stops for no one).
