Spots to visit in Ely Minnesota

Ely, Minnesota has excellent shops, restaurants, suppliers of equipment for outdoor activities, camping, and gateway to the Superior National Forest, known as the Boundary Waters wilderness Canoe Area (BWCAW). This picturesque town has many things to attract the palette adventure. Why not plan your next outdoor trip to this beautiful region in northeastern Minnesota?

Make sure you have enough time to be here after his visits to shop and eat BWCAW. One of my favorite restaurants is the Chocolate "Moose." This family-run business with a variety of dining options, beer and their famous deserts. The restaurant is an ideal place to stay and eat after spending days in the wilderness cooking meals in a portable camp stove. Although you may have to wait a bit to be seated, it's worth the wait.

The next stop is the timber Piragis North of the company. They have everything from canoeing and kayaking accessories, fishing equipment t, camp stoves, clothing, t-shirts and sweatshirts to name a few. Shopping during the summer months you can find all sorts of juicy sales in winter clothing and camping equipment. Another place to see, if you are shopping for a vest or jacket Wintergreen Northern Wear it. Wintergreen jackets are known for their warmth, Will Steiger and Ann Bancroft used these for his explorations in the North Pole.
