Flint River Georgia Canoeing
Fishing for shoal bass in Georgia’s Flint River, any advice?
I will be on a canoe trip down the Flint for three days in mid-March. What baits and lures can be used and how to fish them.
Crank baits, jigs, and tubes work great. Make sure you stay about 20 feet off the shoal because they are shallow and if you get to close you will spook the fish. Try black/blue and green pumpkin jigs/tubes. Also try a shallow running crankbait but match the color to the waters most abundant fish for the bass to eat. The color is up to you. Hope these tips help.
