The Adirondacks are legendary among outdoor enthusiasts in the Northeast. One of the best ways to experience it through the plentiful camping facilities.

Adirondack Camping

The range of popular Adirondack Mountain is located in the northeastern part of New York. It runs through the Essex, Lewis, Bill Clinton, Franklin, Hamilton, Fulton, Warren, Herkimer and Washington. Geographically, it is considered part of the Appalachian Mountains. Geologically, however, is similar to the mountains Laurentian of Canada.

The Adirondacks are high mountains, hills, no. There are over 100 peaks in the chain. Ranging from 1,200 to 5,000 feet with Mount Marcy is the highest at 5340 meters.
